Hephast is a mobile workout tracking app. This policy explains what data the app and this website handle, and how.
Data the app collects
Account information. If you create an account or sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and name. Authentication is handled by our provider Clerk.
Workout data. Your exercises, sets, and training notes are stored on your device. When you sign in, this data is also synced to our servers so you can restore it on another device.
Diagnostics. If the app crashes, a crash report may be sent to our error monitoring provider Sentry so we can fix the problem. Crash reports are technical and are not used for advertising.
Using the app without an account
You can use Hephast without creating an account. In that case your workout data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers.
Where data is stored
Synced data is hosted with Supabase on servers located in the European Union.
What we never do
We do not sell your personal data. The app shows no ads.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Deleting your account removes your synced data from our servers. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
This website
This website does not set tracking cookies and does not run advertising scripts. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, both cookieless, to count page visits, record anonymous interaction events (such as which buttons and sections people use), and measure how fast pages load. None of this identifies individual visitors, and your email or any other personal detail is never attached to an event.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves. The date at the top reflects the latest version.
